Jack Crevalle Fishing in Florida

Captain's Note:
Pulling power is the Jack Crevalle's forte! Hard hitting and rod breaking strength gives Jacks an "A" on the Fight-O-Meter! One of the easiest of the tackle bruisers to catch and definitely a fly rod target, the Jack Crevalle has probably broken more rods than most saltwater fish it's size. Usually traveling in large schools and eating everything in its path, all one has to do is retrieve quickly, rip his lips off on the take and hang on!

It is dark blue or blue-gray on the back and siver with gold tints on the sides and belly.
